Here you will find information about the training we do, and how to get involved.Seaford lifeguards have 3 Surf Lifesaving Great Britain qualified Trainers. They run weekly training sessions in fitness, water safety and lifeguard skills
We meet on a Tuesday for pool fitness training and on a Sunday for beach and theory training. The sessions ensure that all our members skills and fitness is to the highest of standards.
Pool Training
We normally have a hour in the pool every tuesday, when we swim between 2000 - 4000m. We use the RNLI training plan to train to as this seems the most acceptable plan we can use.
Beach Training
Every sunday consists of 3 main areas; a run for fitness training, sea training for rescue skills training and fitness, and finally dry side training which could be first aid, theory, CPR or many other dryside skills needed
